Filing Deadlines for May 3, 2025 General Election
The City of Van Alstyne will hold an election May 3, 2025, electing two (2) Aldermen.
January 15, 2025 - First Day to File for Place on the General Election Ballot
February 14, 2025 5PM - Last Day to File for Place on the General Election Ballot
February 18, 2025 5PM - Last Day to File a Declaration of Write-in Candidacy
April 23, 2025 - Last Day to Register to Vote
A signed & sworn application may be filed in-person during the city’s normal business hours, by email to scoffer@cityofvanalstyne.us, or by U.S. Mail.
