National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week 2026
This week, we proudly recognize and honor the dedicated professionals behind the headset—our Public Safety Telecommunicators.
They are the calm voice in the chaos… the steady hand in moments of crisis… and the critical link between our community and first responders. Every call they answer could be someone’s worst day, and they handle each one with professionalism, compassion, and unwavering focus.
Our telecommunicators work around the clock, often without recognition, ensuring that officers, firefighters, and EMS personnel have the information they need to respond quickly and effectively. Their role is vital to public safety, and their impact cannot be overstated.
To our Communications Team—thank you for your commitment, your sacrifice, and your service to our community. We are proud of each and every one of you.
Please join us in recognizing and thanking these true “first” first responders this week.
