CONSTRUCTION UPDATE: Blassingame Ave will officially begin it’s face lift on Monday, April 20th.
On Monday, the crew will install traffic control and officially close Blassingame Ave from Gilcrease St to N Waco St. Tree removal will begin to prepare for the project.
On Wednesday, crews are expected to begin removing the existing asphalt between Gilcrease St and N Waco St.
On Monday, Apr 27th, the contractor will begin cutting grade and prepping for new utility installations.
Staff will be working closely with the contractor to work as efficiently as possible. Drivers are urged to use extreme caution in the area of construction. Detour signs will be placed to ensure a clear, safe and effective transition during the project.
